Product description: I like a lot changing bills routine, I think the best one is definitely Extreme Burn 2.0 by Richard Sanders, where you turn 5 bills into 5 other ones. This is different, you show a receipt of 400$ worth of buying. You fold it and turn it immediately into 4 bills of 100$, 3 of them are examinable and 1 is the gimmick. The idea here is to turn a single element (receipt) into 4 other ones (bills) of different size and color. But is this good ? Let’s find out !
Price and where to buy it: This is sold at $25 and you can find it here : www.magicdream.fr.
What you get: You get a cardboard box, a nice little one with inside everything you need. The download is simple to understand, they teach you how to use and make another gimmick if needed with your own bills. There is also a bonus which is a nice little idea to use the gimmick with. You get the ready made gimmick and another receipt in case you want to make another one. You also get 4 fake 100$ bills which look very real ! It’s easy to do and packs small play big in my opinion, you won’t be disappointed with what you receive, it’s the same thing as you see on the trailer.
The pros and the cons: Here is the core of my review, let's begin with the cons, as I will usually be doing, I prefer to keep the good things for the end.
THE CONS:
As I said, one of the bill isn’t examinable, so bare in mind you can’t hand it out at the end.
You can’t show both sides of the paper at the beginning, so it’s a bit angle sensitive.
THE PROS:
I like the fact you’re turning one object to 4 other ones which are different in size and color, it’s baffling and I think it looks more impossible than “just” turning 4 bills into 4 other ones.
It’s very easy to do, the fold at the beginning is the only hard part. The move can be hidden in any way you want, shaking, hiding, anything really.
You can make this up in any currency you want, you just have to be able to fold your bills and that they remain folded.
Since only one bill is gimmicked, you can hand 3 out of the 4 to your spectators which is a really nice way of subtlety saying that they’re regular bills.
I like that there is a reason behind this trick, it’s not a change for change sake, this is motivated and very interesting from the spectator’s point of view, you spent 400$ and then you made them reappear from the receipt.
Overall rating: I didn’t think I was going to like this as much as I actually do, it’s very well made, you can adapt it and it gets great reactions from the spectator, 3/4 hearts.
As for the difficulty level, it’s just a matter of folding the bill and shaking it, the gimmick does most of the work for you, 2/5 stars.
