Review : Flash Thumb by Marc Antoine

Product description : Marc Antoine is an amazing guy, he is a very talented and creative magician ! He has many wonderful products, including the Flash Thumb. This tool is a very strong LED system built into a thumb tip, which will allow you to produce a flash of light whenever you want. When you press the button, there is a small delay so you can show your both hands opened and clean. It’s an amazing piece of technology for which you’ll find a use, whether in an existing routine or in a new one.

Price and where to buy it : This is sold at $79 and you can find it on Marc Antoine website : https://dodymagic.com/flashthumb.html

What you get : Well, I’ve seen a lot of products in my reviews, more than 250 and sometimes, the packaging is not the best. This is one of those cases, where you get the Flash Thumb and the instructions in a small ziplock bag. The packaging could have been made better but in this case, the product is so amazing, I just don’t care about what’s outside. In this bag, you’ll find the Flash Thumb which is amazingly well made, in a real Vernet thumb tip. It’s a little technological marvel, which can produce up to 80 flashes before needing a charge. As for the charging, you receive a charger which locks magnetically in the Flash Thumb so you don’t have to struggle finding the plug. It’s a micro USB plug so you can use nearly any charger you want, including the one you receive with the product. There is also a small sheet of instructions, they’re simple but well written. Overall, you pay for the technology and not for the packaging. I’m anything but unhappy with it, I can’t put it down since I’ve got it.

The pros and the cons : Here is the core of my review, let's begin with the cons, as I will usually be doing, I prefer to keep the good things for the end.

THE CONS :

[if !supportLists]– [endif]Again, the packaging could have been made a little bit better ! For $79, I expect a little bit more than just a ziplock bag.

[if !supportLists]– [endif]There is no real routine provided with it, you have to come up with your own. It’s not that bad because, at the end of the day, it’s better to have something which fits your style rather than picking something up in a video.

[if !supportLists]– [endif]It’s a little bit expensive but again, the technology is reliable so I don’t mind paying for something good which I will use.

THE PROS :

[if !supportLists]– [endif]The construction of the gimmick is amazing, I’ve said it 10 times but (apart from Promystic) I’ve never had a technological gimmick which works well every time ! I’ve never had any problem with the Flash Thumb, it’s something I carry with me all day.

[if !supportLists]– [endif]It’s easy to use, there is no on/off switch so you can just have it in your pocket and put it on your thumb and do it right away. Just ditch it in your pocket after that and you’re all good.

[if !supportLists]– [endif]The flash is really really really strong ! Even in full daylight, you can see and be amazed by the flahs ! So you’re not limited to doing it at night. You may even be careful with it because people may be surprised by how strong it is.

[if !supportLists]– [endif]You get a 2 years warranty on this product so Marc Antoine really stands up behind his products. I’m really not afraid about it, it should last a very long time.

[if !supportLists]– [endif]The charger is magnetic so you don’t have to fiddle around to plug it inside the Thumb Tip, it’s a small thing but helps a lot when you want to charge your device.

[if !supportLists]– [endif]You also receive a small plastic circle which can fit in your Thumb Tip if it’s too big. They have thought about everything.

Overall rating : This is the most amazing tool of 2017 for me, it ticks all the boxes, 4/4 hearts.

As for the difficulty level, there is nothing complicated about it, just put it on your thumb and you’re ready to go, I would say 1/5 stars.

Similar products : The FISM Flash is a product put out by John Cornelius which allows you to do things like that. Flash Thumb is much more versatile, and easier to use.
