What you get : You get a little plastic bag with inside : written instructions, pretty clear and easy to follow. A “gimmicked” pen and another one that can be handed out after a switch during the routine ! The whole thing feels quality, pen actually writes and works as a charm. Happy with what I received.
The pros and the cons : Here is the core of my review, let's begin with the cons, as I will usually be doing, I prefer to keep the good things for the end.
THE CONS :
Errr.. I can't find any con except maybe that you can't do the trick twice since it will always be the same color at the end.
Another little con is the way, as with every hot rod routine, you get to the color you want.
THE PROS :
The price ! It's under $10 !! Some downloads are more expensive so this is a steal compared to the reactions you can get doing this routine.
The pen are Bic pen so the quality is very good and the letters on it don't seem to scratch off very easily so this is a good point !
The cap of the pen was made the same color as the one which will be chosen by the spectator so you can play on the whole “do you think you can be influenced by things you don't look at” blablabla and I find this genius. You won't believe how people can trust you when it comes to something they “know” (the influence of things). I love play on this and the pen helps me a lot doing it.
You only have to carry one pen so the pocket management is very good ! I won't be carrying the second pen, I don't feel the need doing a switch during the routine.
The thing is now justified ! You can build the routine around google and the way adds work etc.. I really liked the fact he used a very famous brand to put on the pen.
Overall rating : Guys, get this, it's a no brainer. $10 for an excellent routine, well motivated with quality props, you won't find any better. 4/4 hearts for me and a big recommandation.
As for the difficulty level, the classic paddle move, 2/5 stars.
Similar products : I think the classic hot rod is still a good thing since some of them allow you to do 3 color change while the pen here only allows you 2. But since the whole thing is much more motivated, I will carry the Search Engine Pen with me now.
