Price and where to buy it : This is sold at $60 and you can find it in nearly every Murphy's partner shop !
What you get : You get a small cardboard box with inside a DVD, very well shot with everything you should know about this gimmick. You also get a small piece of paper saying the stuff used to make the gimmick has changed from the time they shot the DVD and the stuff now used is much more durable ! Speaking about the gimmick, it is very well wrapped into bubble pack, it looks like it's made out of real leather so it's quite nice. It's a small "wallet" in which you can fit 5 to 10 business cards and a playing card, but don't think you will be able to use it as an everyday wallet. The mechanism is very well hidden and should last a long time, I quite like the way it is built.
The pros and the cons : Here is the core of my review, let's begin with the cons, as I will usually be doing, I prefer to keep the good things for the end.
THE CONS :
You won't really be able to use it for anything else except from this trick so its use is quite limited. Kind of a one trick gimmicked deck which you could only use once.
I wouldn't be doing it twice to the same people, I think the moment of the surprise is the standing point of the trick and doing it twice would reduce its impact.
It is loud when triggered, a snap of the fingers won't really hide the sound. I don't think it's an issue but it could give away how the mechanism works.
THE PROS :
It's a new plot which is quite refreshing, I really like the idea of sending an invisible thing and it appears right into thin air. This is a nice plot which will surprise your spectators.
The gimmick is very well made and it feels like a James Bond gadget. Not that it is a major pro but it's always nice to be amazed by the gimmick you receive.
Considering what you get and the quality of the gimmick, I think the price asked is quite logical. Some of you may think it's expensive but I find that it is well priced and it's an effect which nobody has ever seen so it's a nice unique piece of magic.
You can use almost everything you want, from cards to bills, you will have to di it a few times before really the knack for it and be sure the object which gets shot will land into the hands of the spectator.
Overall rating : A very cool trick but unfortunately, the limitation of having 1 wallet for 1 trick doesn't please me, 3/4 hearts, a good trick but I won't be using it.
As for the difficulty level, it's a nearly self working trick as I said, 1/5 stars.
Similar products : I don't know any deck which allows you to do such effect.. Mark has created quite a unique trick which get very great reactions, bravo !
